During university, Makoto, an aspiring photographer,
falls in love with the enigmatic Shizuru. Inspired
by Makoto, Shizuru takes up photography, quickly progressing
to award-winning photos. Makoto becomes jealous of
Shizuru’s success, causing the relationship
to break-up; but not before Shizuru extracts a promise
from Makoto to come for her once he has fulfilled
his dream to become a successful photographer.
Three
years later, Makoto, disillusioned and out of work,
hears rumours that Shizuru was killed in New York
about a year ago. But then a letter arrives from Shizuru,
postmarked only the week before. Baffled, Makoto travels
to New York to unravel the mystery surrounding Shizuru… |
