Shochiku
is a leading Japanese film and theatre producer, distributor
and exhibitor. Founded in 1895, Shochiku have produced for many
talented directors, including Yasujiro Ozu, Akira
Kurosawa and Takeshi Kitano.
In honour of their 110th anniversary next year, the following
Shochiku productions will be showing during the Film Festival:
